Very good welcome. Lovely breakfast. Comfy room. Good parking ratio. If heading back to Ilfracombe, I would thay there again.
Shame they don't serve breakfast until 8.30am as being a business traveller I would have liked to have got away much earlier. It was a little bit noisy in the morning as it was right next to a busy road and the windows were only single glazed.

Arrived at 5pm - welcome was warm and friendly. Room had thoughtful little touches, and was spacious and warm. The king size bed gave a wonderful night's sleep. About a 10/15 minute walk down to the harbour where we ate at a restaurant recommended to us by the manager and his wife - this was superb also.

We were made to feel welcome. The hotel was very clean and tidy and our "superior" room was spacious and well decorated. Bottled water was provided as well as tea/coffee making facilities and biscuits. Our breakfast, which was ordered the night before, was excellent and hot. A mini-bar and "snacks" were also available in the room. An excellent idea if staying for a longer break. We will certainly go back when visiting family in the future.
The curtains in our room could do with a blackout lining as the room got very light, very early.
